What is with these comapnies

Why do they insist on us filling so many forms!!! We wrote what we wanted to communicate on our CVs. Why the forms? and the psycho tests? and the aptitude tests, even after clearing CAT!!!
I am really beginning to wonder how on earth can someone know even an ounce about me by getting me to fill a form. I wish I'd get a chance to ask the HR of some company abt it, in fact I will ask the HR once I join a particular company. Lets see what they have to say abt it.
Meanwhile I'm going bonkers, and the deadlines are getting shorter by the day. A company released its form at 6pm today and is expecting it to be filled by 10 am tomorrow. For God's sake, I have other ways to screw my life too!
